Project Description
We went beyond the ordinary TI requirements to ensure the District Attorney’s Office met the security standards of the General Services Administration (GSA). This required us to install bulletproof glass in the reception area, place bulletproof doors in the corridors, line all corridor walls with plywood, and insert man bars in the ductwork. Okland also constructed a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in the space to prevent electronic surveillance of high-security evidence under review. Our work on this tenant improvement met all GSA standards and received an official government accreditation.
