Project Description

The Intermountain McKay-Dee Surgical Center and Orthopedics (SC&O) is the surgical and orthopedic destination of choice for patients, employees, medical staff, and community to deliver the highest quality care at the lowest appropriate cost. Level 1 includes reception/waiting areas for both clinical care and physical therapy enhanced by reclaimed oak paneling. An adjacent waiting lounge features a bistro serving meals and snacks throughout the day. The physical therapy gym includes treadmills, weight machines, a basketball hoop, and running track. The hydrotherapy area showcases two pools with submersible treadmills and video cameras. Level 2 serves as the surgical center with six fully equipped operating rooms, Pre/Post-Op rooms and PACU. Support space includes physician office space, locker rooms, and a staff break room.
