The North Tempe Multi-Generational Center is a community facility that was constructed for residents of all ages. The facility amenities include a full-size gymnasium; classrooms; a computer lab; a fitness and health library; a rock climbing wall; a fitness facility with state-of-the-art equipment; aerobic studios; a senior center with kitchen; room for city offices; and a great hall for small performances, receptions, parties, and other similar functions.

The steel-framed structure is mostly clad in masonry and steel panels. It features a partial barreled ceiling through the center of the building with sloping roofs from the apex.
